Burglary: A woman reported a man had entered her locked home and was sleeping on her couch.
Miscellaneous: A person reported a fire hydrant on South Woodland Avenue that appeared to be tampered with.
Information: A man reported drug activity at a residence on Vine Street.
Sunday, Oct. 25
Suspicious subject: Police received a report of a suspicious subject carrying a backpack and dressed in all black walking around Durnwald Drive and Elm Street.
Monday, Oct. 26
Miscellaneous: A caller reported a stop sign was down on Spring Street. The city’s service department was advised.
Animal complaint: Officers received a report of a dog without a leash on Caleb Drive. The reporting officer was unable to locate any dog after checking the area.
Accident hit skip: A woman reported a gray Chevy Malibu was driving over the railroad tracks on North Woodland Avenue when the gates came down and broke the vehicle’s windshield, and the driver kept going. The complainant said the sun may have been in the driver’s eyes at the time. Norfolk Railroad was advised of the damaged crossing gate art light. An hour later, the vehicle owner’s daughter called police and reported the incident and requested an officer for an accident report.
Tuesday, Oct. 27
Theft: A man came to the police station to report someone taking money from his residence.
Trespassing: A woman reported juveniles climbing on construction equipment at the Midvale Avenue construction area.
Request to check building: A woman believed someone was in her mother’s house on East Maple Street and requested an officer check the premises.
Wednesday, Oct. 28
Harassment other means: A caller reported that her boyfriend was threatened by a man in the parking lot of a doctor’s office on West McPherson Highway.
Thursday, Oct. 29
Animal complaint: A woman reported someone let her rabbits out of their pen on North Church Street.
Information: A woman reported the wind blew prescription papers and $20 from her vehicle.
Friday, Oct. 30
Theft: A man came to the police station to report the theft of cash and pills.
Criminal damaging: A woman came to the police station to report damage to her vehicle.
Harassment other means: A woman reported she was being harassed on Facebook.

Suspicious subject: A woman reported someone at her front door on North Church Street around 4 a.m.
Sunday, Nov. 1
Loud music house or vehicle: Police received a loud music complaint from an apartment on Hickory Street. The anonymous caller later called back and asked police to disregard the call since the music had been turned down.
Littering: A person reported a number of juveniles breaking glass bottles near the roadway of East Forest Street.
Harassment other means: A woman reported that a man was following her and was walking past he residence numerous times.
Monday, Nov. 2
Request to check well-being: A person called 911 to report a possible injured person lying on the ground beside his riding mower on East Maple Street. The man was OK.
Thursday, Nov. 5
Burglary: A woman reported someone entered her apartment on Hickory Street.
Vandalism: A man called police to report his mailbox was in his neighbor’s yard on CR 236.
Criminal damaging: A man reported someone throwing rocks at the back of his home on Lynber Lane.
Friday, Nov. 6
Arrest for other department: Police arrested Paul Raye Johnson on an active warrant from Wood County.
Saturday, Nov. 7
Theft: Police received a report of the theft of a bicycle from the Clyde Public Library.
Sunday, Nov. 8
Animal complaint: Police received a report of a German Shepherd running loose that attacked the complainant’s dog on Parker Ave., but the complainant refused to speak with an officer.
Tuesday, Nov. 10
Arrest for other department: Police arrested a juvenile on East McPherson Highway on an active warrant out of the juvenile court.
Thursday, Nov. 12
Arrest for other department: A suspect turned himself in on an active warrant. Kaleb M. Grill was then transported to the Sandusky County Sheriff’s Office.
Friday, Nov. 13
Electric lines/outages: Whirlpool security reported an electrical wire hanging down across from the fire department by a fire hydrant. Toledo Edison was advised.
Arrest for other department: Dale M. Jones was arrested on an active warrant out of Sandusky County.
Suspicious subject: Police received a report of a red Chevy Impala on Elm Street with subjects outside shining flashlights on a building.

Drug abuse: A person reported an apartment on Hickory Street smelling like marijuana.
Sunday, Nov. 15
Assault: A woman reported that someone from another apartment building on Hickory Street threw a large potato at her.
Monday, Nov. 16
Suspicious subject: A caller reported a suspicious man, possibly intoxicated, outside a laundromat on Spring Avenue.
Tuesday, Nov. 17
Parking violation: Police received a report of a red truck parked on Fox Ave. that hadn’t moved in a month.
Thursday, Nov. 19
Theft: A woman reported a theft from her unlocked vehicle sometime overnight on Washington Avenue.
Menacing or threats: A woman requested an officer at an apartment complex on Hickory Street after a tenant’s boyfriend made threats.
Railroad: A caller reported a crossing gate at a railroad crossing on North Main Street came down on a semi and broke off. An officer removed the broken gate off the tracks. Norfolk Railroad was advised of the matter.
Friday, Nov. 20
Suspicious subject: Police received several calls reporting a suspicious person in the roadway on McPherson Highway, near Speedway.
Request to check well-being: A woman reported hearing a man yelling. The reporting officer told the woman a witness said some boys were riding their skateboards yelling. The skateboarders had left the area.
Request assistance other agency: Clyde police assisted the county in locating a vehicle involved in the shooting of a stop sign.
Saturday, Nov. 21
Harassment by telephone: Clyde police received a call from a woman in Fremont reporting phone harassment from a woman in Clyde. The woman from Fremont was advised to call the Fremont Police Department.
Animal complaint: Police received a report of a loose, mixed-breed dog running behind Drug Mart.
Tuesday, Nov. 24
Fraud: A woman requested to speak with an officer regarding her social security number being stolen.
Gas lines/leaks/odors: Police received a report of a natural gas odor on Mulberry Street. Columbia Gas was notified.
Drug abuse: Police received multiple reports of the smell of marijuana coming from an apartment on Hickory Street.
Gas lines/leaks/odors: Police received a report of a natural gas odor all over a trailer park on Burkholder Road. Columbia Gas was notified but was unable to locate the odor.
Wednesday, Nov. 25
Request to check well-being: A caller told police a customer was supposed to pick up their dog on Nov. 23 and they hadn’t heard from the customer since Nov. 20.
Friday, Nov. 27
Theft: A woman reported that someone at her home stole her daughter’s pain medication that she had just received from the doctor.
Saturday, Nov. 28
Theft: A woman reported the theft of a purse on Vine Street.
Sunday, Nov. 29
Animal complaint: A stray dog was reported on South Main Street. The blue tick hound had no dog tags and was put in the city kennel. The owner later came and picked up the dog.
Assault: A man requested an officer to an address on South Church Street for a juvenile male assaulting a teenage boy.
Suspicious subject: Police received a report of juveniles walking around storage buildings on West Maple Street.
Monday, Nov. 30
Unwanted subject: Police were requested to a business on Elm Street after an employee failed a drug test and would not leave the building.
Suspicious subject: A person reported someone rang their doorbell on Bertha Avenue around 11:30 p.m. and left. The complainant wanted the area checked.
