GREEN SPRINGS — The Green Springs Police Department is looking for a man who held up a store in downtown Green Springs over the weekend.
On Saturday day night, around 11:30 p.m., a man robbed the Corner Cut Rate Drive Thru, located at 138 S. Broadway St.
According to a release from the police department, an unidentified man came into the store brandishing a large black knife and left with an undetermined amount of cash.
The man fled the area on foot and is described as being between 5-foot, 7-inches and 5-foot, 10 inches tall and medium build. According to the report he was wearing a gray hoodie, blue t-shirt, blue ski mask, black pants and black and white tennis shoes.
A reward is being offered for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the robbery.
